The Gift of Life

Jesus Christ is the reason for the season
And of all the gifts to receive, He’s the greatest one.
For God so loved and prized the world immensely,
He gave to us His only begotten Son.
God’s great love surpasses human understanding,
He designed salvation’s plan to set us free.
Since we all were born into this world as sinners,
Christ was sent to die as our redemption fee.
Whoever confesses with their mouth the Lord Jesus
And with their heart believe God raised Him from the dead,
Will be saved and live abundantly forever
Through Him who is the life and light of men.
It’s not based on good behavior and it’s not because of works,
It’s the gift of God given by FREE grace.
His unmerited favor delivers us from judgment
And we’re made partakers of Christ’s salvation through our faith.
Always remember to give back to God, the greatest giver,
And be thankful everyday throughout your life.
Become a gift of love that serves God and others,
Practicing godly characteristics with the Mind of Christ.
