Gardening

I would like to share my experience with gardening. I notice that my lawn is supposed to be centipede grass, after a period of time weeds and other plant life appears that don’t belong. If I don’t kill or pull these weeds out, it will choke to death the good seed and the yard looks bad. I also notice my flower beds, fruits and vegetable plants require the same work of pulling out the weeds. Pulling weeds requires some work on my part: bending my knees, my back, using my hands to pull, and getting rid of what I removed. This gardening experience paints a wonderful message about our heart. When bitterness, anger, Unforgiveness, resentment, envy and so on rest in our heart it will choke out the good.Philippians 4:8-9 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. 9. Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.
