For those of us whom are single and prepared to jump into the dating scene, we truly understand the depth of Genesis 2:18, “It is not good that the man should be alone”. Although it is absolutely wonderful to have such diversified methods of meeting new Christians, the waves of future disaster can be calmed by first following a few key points before jumping in too deep. Don't overlook the three social networks that should that are privy to dating in the Christian lifestyle.

Suggestion #1
Know thine Self. Without a clear understanding of yourself and what you seek, what you like, what you find acceptable in terms of your beliefs and future relationship, it is nearly impossible to find the right person. “I will make him an help meet for him”, so know who you are.

Suggestion #2
Know thine God. Sometimes, the best way to get to know yourself is through getting to know your God! When you become engaged with your creator in a personal way you have access to a higher power capable of opening up your mind and spirit. Draw near unto God and you might actually find your desires changing.

Suggestion #3
Know thine Friends. Developing a strong network of like minded individuals of quality who enhance your life positively will strengthen you as an individual and prepare you for meeting new possible matches. If your friend network isn't quite what you'd like it to be, then develop strategies to make new friends, the kind that embrace your spiritual philosophy and make you smile.
