Hello and welcome to another spirit filled issue of
Christian Quarterly Magazine. It is my prayer that you, our reader is evangelized,
educated and edified by reading our magazine. In this quarterly issue, you will
find that the theme is all about the resurrection of Jesus.
Every single Easter, I look forward to hearing and praising along with the song, "He Got Up!" The lyrics are, "Death, where is thy sting, Sting, where is thy grave, Grave, where is thy victory? He got up. God raised Him up. He got up, with all power in His hands." The riveting beat and rhythm rocks the sanctuary, ushering in the Spirit of the Lord. Aside from the preached Word, this always caps my Easter church experience.
The fact, yes the fact that Jesus was crucified, died and rose on the third day epitomizes the Christian faith. By the awesome power of God, Jesus got up and walked out of the grave. He is alive. He is not dead. He is alive and living inside every single believer who has made Him their Lord and Savior. He has risen and on that day when He calls us out of our graves, we will get up, too. And we don't have to even wait until that point. We have the power now through the Holy Spirit to get up and out of our sin or the things that are holding us back from fulfilling our destiny in Christ.
I'm so glad, He is not still on the cross. I'm so glad, He is no longer in the grave. I'm so glad, He Got Up!!!
